Kareena Kapoor Khan set major pregnancy goals when she was expecting her first baby with husband Saif Ali Khan. The actress not only broke many myths by continuously working till the last day of her pregnancy but also post her delivery within a few days she bounced back to her work life and set amazing working mommy goals.
Now, when the actress is all set for her upcoming film Good Newwz, she has revealed some interesting facts about the times she was pregnant.
In the film, we have Bebo playing a pregnant woman who has conceived her first baby through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) with her husband who is played by Akshay Kumar.
Speaking about her character, Bebo shared how she is having a prosthetic baby bump in the movie and recalled her days of pregnancy when she was expecting Taimur. She also revealed that she used to eat ten parathas in a day and now it’s only one.
"Every day I had to wear the pregnancy stomach because of the different phases shown in the film – three months, six months and then nine months. So that time we had to wear… they made like a swimsuit of a belly. It was made with prosthetics. We made it in London and we had to wear that swimsuit under the clothes every day and it looked so natural. It has the naval and everything, so when you see it on-screen it looks natural for both me and Kiara. So that was like, because I’d forgotten what was it like to be pregnant.""So this was pregnancy without the parathas and that was pregnancy with the parathas. I used to eat eight to ten parathas in a day when I was pregnant. This time we were shooting in Chandigarh. I ate 2. In excitement that I am shooting for Lal Singh Chaddha with Aamir, I thought let me eat one more with white butter on it. Because I love it. I am a foodie."-

When she was quizzed about the time she was pregnant and the kind of conversations she had with her doctor and if she was really worried about her pregnancy, Kareena said,
"I was a hypochondriac, but I enjoyed my pregnancy. But I’m generally a hypochondriac. I was asking my doctor 100 questions. Every day there was one question, till the time he would be like, ‘Listen now there’s nothing to ask. Just relax’. So of course, it was the first-time pregnancy, though my sister was always with me and she’s a phone call away and she would always guide me. My doctor used to tell me that come and weigh yourself. Because you are 20 kgs overweight. Stop eating so much. I was like, ‘This is my only chance’. So he was like, ‘You have gone mad’."-
Further, revealing details about her own delivery process and the complications she had to face while giving birth to Taimur, Kareena said,
"I actually had to have a Caesarean delivery because his head was down. He had already turned very fast. So, he was ready to come out, it was very low. I was very hyper. I was getting anxiety during the labour so they had to perform a C-section. I think with women, sometimes you know, it depends because maybe you know you do get like anxiety. Like I would get extra anxious. Maybe I would scream I don’t know, but yeah, maybe a little exaggeration is done in Bollywood movies while showing a woman in labor. Of course, not denying that."-
