Hera Pheri 3 on the Way? Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty & Paresh Rawal Reunite for Promo Shoot!

Hera Pheri 3 is one of the most-awaited comedy films, and fans have been eagerly waiting for updates. The buzz around the film has grown stronger as reports suggest that Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal finally reunited for the first promo shoot on April 3, 2025.

The first part, Hera Pheri, released in 2000, became a cult classic, followed by Phir Hera Pheri in 2006. The second installment ended on a cliffhanger, leaving fans excited for another sequel. After years of speculation, the makers have finally started work on Hera Pheri 3, bringing back the iconic trio of Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, director Priyadarshan helmed the promo shoot, which will serve as the official announcement for the film. A source shared, “The first scene was indeed shot today with Akshay, Suniel, and Paresh, who will be bringing back the memories of their iconic role.” The actors reportedly slipped back into their legendary characters and had a great time filming together.

Earlier this year, many media portals had reported that Priyadarshan would direct the film. The full-fledged shooting schedule is expected to begin in December 2025 and continue till May 2026. A trusted insider revealed, “After wrapping the post-production of Bhooth Bangla by June 2025, Priyadarshan wants to focus on scripting before starting the shoot. The team knows how important this franchise is and is dedicated to delivering a laughter-filled experience.”

The source further added, “The makers plan to shoot the film over six months, ensuring that every detail is perfect. Hera Pheri 3 is expected to hit the big screen in 2026.” The script’s foundation has already been laid, and fans can expect another hilarious adventure with the beloved characters.
