Hera Pheri 3 Teaser Set to Drop Before IPL 2025 Finale, Confirms Suniel Shetty

After years of anticipation, Hera Pheri 3 is finally turning into reality. Since its announcement, fans have been buzzing with excitement, and now there's a fresh update that has added more fuel to the fire. Suniel Shetty, who plays Shyam in the film, recently revealed that the teaser of Hera Pheri 3 is ready and will be released before the IPL 2025 finale. This news has sparked massive excitement among fans who are eager to see the iconic trio – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal – together once again.

In a recent interview with Amar Ujala, Suniel Shetty shared that the shooting for the third part has officially begun and the team is in full swing. The teaser is already completed and will be unveiled before the IPL 2025 final match. Talking about the chemistry with Akshay and Paresh, Suniel laughed and said, "Excited hain kyunki same team hai. Masti bhara rehta hai."

He added, "Jab hum teen saath mein hote hain to aas paas waalon ki haalat bahut kharab hoti hai." It’s clear that the vibe on the sets is just as mad and fun as it used to be, making fans even more hopeful that the film will bring back the magic of the original.

The film comes almost 24 years after the release of the original Hera Pheri (1999), and the expectations are sky-high. Director Priyadarshan, who is returning to helm the third part after directing the first one, earlier shared, “It is going to be very challenging to make the third part because there will be too many expectations. Characters have gotten older and accordingly people should believe… these are important things. I am taking it as a challenge. Let’s see how it works.”

The director and cast have become like a close-knit family, and Suniel confirmed this bond. He jokingly said, "When the three of us met, it is so ‘masti-bhara’. To tell you the truth, there should be a danger sign. Because when the three of us come together, the people around us go crazy trying to keep us in line."

Though the teaser is ready, the full film will only go on floors in 2026. This delay is because Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar are currently working on Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy, which they wish to complete first. Fans, however, are happy that things are finally moving and can’t wait to see Raju, Shyam, and Babu Rao back in action!
