Happy Times! Patrick J Adams. to return as Mike Ross in the Final Season of 'Suits'

You have got to be honest and admit that Patrick J. Adams aka Mike Ross was indeed missed a lot in the longrunning show, Suits in the penultimate season, As known, Patrick exited the show back in Season 7 and was shown to be 'away' in the 8th season which centered on other characters, namely a returning Jessica and a new character in the form of Samantha (played by Katherine Heigl).

And it wasn't until a couple of months ago that it was confirmed that the 9th season of Suits will indeed be the series' last. It was bittersweet for the fans to know this where one hand it is obvious that they will miss the show immensely, on the other hand, they are glad it is getting over as the storyline has been stretched for far too long.

But here is a sweet piece of news that will get the fans even more excited for the final season and that is Patrick J Adams will be returning as Mike Ross in the ninth and final season of the show.

Adams will appear in Episode 5 when his alter ego ends up “getting embroiled in a case against Harvey and Samantha,” executive producer Aaron Korsh tells Deadline. “He doesn’t exactly know that Samantha is going to be involved when he comes back, but he does know Harvey is going to be.” Additionally, there will be “some fun scenes and some emotional scenes with Mike and the old gang. He will interact with more than Harvey and Samantha.”

“I couldn’t be happier to be part of the final chapter of Suits,” Adams enthuses. “I’ve missed my TV family, and am looking forward to seeing what kind of trouble Mike Ross can stir up at the firm one last time.”

Getting greedy, fans wondered if Megha Markle, now the Duchess of Essex will be returning one last time in the show as Rachel but Korsh confirmed that the chances for that is 'pretty close to zero.'

Nevertheless, enjoy the moment to see Mike back one last time.
