Gulki Joshi to not be a part of Star Plus' upcoming show

Gulki Joshi, who was last seen in Sony SAB’ popular show ‘Maddam Sir’ garnered a lot of love for her stint in the show as SHO Haseena Malik. The actress, along with Yukti Kapoor and other actors helmed the show and it went ahead to be one of the most successful shows of the channel.

Recently, there were rumours of Gulki being roped in by Vajra productions to play the female lead for their upcoming series on Star Plus. However, India Forums is here to give you an exclusive development on the same. Sources close to the actress have denied these rumours and have gone ahead to state that this news is completely false and that the actress is not going to be a part of the show. We tried to reach the actress too however Gulki remained unavailable for any comments. 

The actress has now shared an official statement on the same saying, ''The news has caught me unaware as I have no clue of any such development. I have been receiving messages from my team on the same who are equally lost and congratulatory words from the entire world. I would like to please clarify I have gotten no call from Vajra Production of their representatives and I have no clue of any such show having signed me. Hence NO, I am not yet signed up with or for any show. I am looking forward to signing something good real soon hence have been hearing scripts and meetings are on god willing i get to sign up something real soon.''

Gulki, apart from 'Maddam Sir’ has been a part of popular shows like ‘Phir Subah Hogi,’ ‘Paramavatar Shri Krishna,’ ‘Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja,’ ‘Swabhimaan’ and more. During her stint in 'Maddam Sir', her fallout with co-star Shilpa Shinde garnered a lot of headlines and both actresses got involved in a major tiff.
