Gulki Joshi opens up on finding love on a DATING APP: ‘I feel emotionally secure’

Gulki Joshi, who gained widespread fame as SHO Haseena Malik in Maddam Sir, recently opened up about finding love on a dating app and revealed how her relationship with her significant other has been evolving. She also shared a distressing experience during an event in Ranchi.

Taking a well-deserved break from her demanding routine, Gulki explored online dating during her travels and found a surprising connection. She decided to try her luck on a dating app, where she matched with someone outside the entertainment world.

“I thought if it goes wrong, I’d just blame it on a fake profile,” Gulki laughed, recalling her lighthearted attitude towards online dating initially. To her relief, she met someone who didn’t recognize her from television and valued her for who she is, beyond her career.

Their bond has since grown stronger, and Gulki shared that they have been together for about nine months now.

“Earlier, it was about the adventure and butterflies. Now, for the first time, I feel emotionally secure,” she reflected, highlighting how crucial emotional stability is for women when it comes to relationships.

In the same conversation, Gulki recounted a frightening incident from her visit to Ranchi, where she had gone to present an award to cricketer MS Dhoni. She said, “As soon as I stepped outside, I was mobbed. It wasn’t just excitement — it became physically overwhelming to the point where I genuinely felt threatened. Amid the chaos, I feared being molested.”
