GUESS which actress had the best FAMILY VALUES for the Bachchan Family

We all know the love story of Bollywood's diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and hubby Abhishek Bachchan. Although, only a few know that Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to marry Karisma Kapoor. However, due to reason best known to the Bachchans and the Kapoors, the marriage was called off.

Back in a media interaction with People Magazine in 2008 Jaya Bachchan spoke at great length about the family values and stated how she has brought up her children that way and hoped that they had the right values.

While she was asked if she wishes that the same values be rubbed on the person who joins the family like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, praising her daughter in law, Jaya had said, "Yes. That is why I wanted my son to marry a girl who has those values, who has that tradition, that culture".

Further, she was asked if the family values were one of the reasons Abhishek Bachchan's marriage plan with Karisma Kapoor was called off. Taking a long pause, Jaya had hinted it to be true. She said, "she has the blood and genes of the Kapoors. They have the tradition. Her father and I were buddies, they had good relations with my husband. So one must not always blame the families".
