GHKKPM producer Rajesh Ram Singh on NOT CHOOSING Dheeraj Dhoopar for the show: 'Lets make the right choice'

With the new season of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin ready to roll tonight, fans of the popular daily soap are eager to witness what the new cast of the show brings to the table. While Param Singh, Vaibhavi Hankare and Sanam Johar are all set to entertain the audience today onwards, some viewers of the show are still trying to uncover the mystery behind Dheeraj Dhoopar's replacement from the show.

India Forums had earlier exclusively reported about Dheeraj being replaced from the show owing to him 'not agreeing' to work as per the clauses of the production house. Well, in a recent conversation with Telly Masala, Rajesh Ram Singh, the producer of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin opened up on the actor's replacement and revealed why did they decide to go with Param instead of Dheeraj.

Speaking about the same, Singh says, ''Kahi saari cheeze hoti hai usme. We were very keen on taking Dheeraj also, we were considering both Param and Dheeraj but Dheeraj ka apna ek stardom hai. Unka apna ek aura hai, ek stardom hai. Woh bhi bahut keen thhe ke hum sath mein kaam kare but kahi na kahi you know darr hota hai ke is it right ke kahi risky na hojaye agar hum aisa kuch kare. India mein na emotions bahut judte hai logo ko aur wo actor ko na ek certain type, certain character mein dekhna chahte hai. Our character was way different from what Dheeraj is, uski ek apni appearance hai. Humara ek choice tha ke ye kare ya ye kare but phir sab ne mil ke decide kiya ke lets go with Param kyunki he goes very well in the role. Jis tarah ki personality hai, jis tarah ka character hume chaiye tha.''

''Dheeraj ne bhi audition bahut ache se kiya tha but phir ek point pe we thought lets make the right choice. When you make the right choice, you win half the battle. Toh wahi hai sirf,'' he concludes.
