Gauhar Khan in Jhalak on Sony...

All of us have seen Nigaar Khan, the very popular vamp on television in a new avatar with Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. Now her sister Gauhar Khan follows the footsteps of her elder sister by joining the league of reality shows, as the svelte ramp model is all set to debut on television with Sony’s Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

“Gauhar Khan is one of the participants of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which will soon be aired on Sony,” says our source.

If sources are to be believed, Monica Bedi was also approached for the same. We contacted Monica to know whether she is participating. “Well I got an offer for the show but could not take it up due to some date problems. I am busy with something else,” quips the reality show contestant.

The second season of Jhalak saw Mona Singh, the winner of Season 1 as anchor, along with Rohit Roy. Going by this trend, we called Prachi Desai, winner of Season 2 to know whether she is hosting this season. But the actress declined saying, “I have not received any such offer till now”.

Our source too confirmed the same saying, “Prachi is not hosting the show.”

There was a buzz that Yuvraj Singh might be participating in Jhalak. “Well that is not possible as IPL and Jhalak are launching around the same period. So it’s difficult for any cricketer to take part in the reality show,” concludes our source.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 3 will be produced by BBC and will go on air around February end or March first week.
