Zaid Darbar praises wife Gauahar Khan for working even in pregnancy: ‘She is a wonder woman’

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar are gearing up to welcome their second baby. The actress, currently in her second trimester, is busy juggling her work commitments, including promotions for her upcoming projects Fauji 2 and Lovely Lolla.

In a recent interview with Galatta India, the couple spoke candidly about their journey into parenthood once again. Zaid, visibly emotional, opened up about the ups and downs that come with raising a child.

“Bacche ko bada karna is a lot of fun, but the procedure is very difficult,” he said. “The Almighty has given us strength to handle it. I often get emotional while speaking about it, as I have been experiencing it for three years. I know the procedure and how it goes. Earlier, we didn’t respect our parents, but once we become parents, we understand how it feels. Jab mummy-daddy bolte the ki ‘Jab tum baap banoge tab samajh mein aayega’. Now, I understand it very clearly. Woh bahut bada fact hai.”

Zaid also praised Gauahar’s work ethic and resilience, especially during pregnancy. He recalled how she had continued working late into her previous pregnancy as well.

“Gauahar Khan is a Wonder Woman. She loves her work and does it with full dedication. She was working during the 8th month of her pregnancy a couple of years ago. Hum darr jaate hai. We ask her to stop, but she says, ‘I love to do what I am doing’,” he added.

As the couple prepares to become parents once more, their approach remains grounded — balancing personal milestones with professional responsibilities, while acknowledging the emotional weight of the journey.
