Game Changer’s producer reacts angrily after local channel illegally airs Ram Charan's film

Political thriller starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani has fallen prey to piracy, with reports of an illegal telecast surfacing just days after its release. The film, which premiered in theaters on January 10, has been aired on local cable channels and in buses, creating quite a buzz online. Screenshots of the unauthorized broadcast are spreading rapidly, leading to outrage from the film’s producer, Sreenivas Kumar.

SKN took to his X account to condemn the incident, calling it "unacceptable." He highlighted the hard work that goes into making a film, saying that it deserves respect.

A film that was released just 4-5 days ago being telecasted on local cable channels & buses raises serious concerns. Cinema is not just about the hero, director, or producers – it’s the result of 3-4 years of hard work, dedication, and the dreams of thousands of people.

He further highlighted the financial repercussions of piracy, adding, “Think about the impact on distributors and exhibitors whose livelihoods depend on the success of these films. Such actions undermine their efforts and threaten the future of the film industry. It’s time for respected governments to step up and take strict action to put an end to this."

Even though Game Changer received mixed to positive reviews, it had a strong opening at the box office and has already made over ?100 crores in India. However, its success has been affected by piracy issues. An HD version of the film was leaked online before it was released, revealing important plot details and causing more problems.

Producer Dil Raju had already filed a complaint with the cyber police against those responsible, claiming they tried to extort money before the leak. This illegal airing has added to the film's difficulties and raised important questions about protecting creative work in the entertainment industry.
