Zombies and vampires will be the stars of Tinsel Town next year. Yes people, Bollywood is all set to start a new trend of films with these characters. Three films have already been announced: the Abhay Deol starrer Shaadi of the Dead, Saif Ali Khan's Go Goa Gone, both of which happen to be zombie flicks, and the vampire flick Bloody Veer.

From the makers of Ragini MMS, the film is tentatively set to hit the silver screen on the spooky festival of Halloween next year, a good debut platform we think but who will play the lead character? The information so far has not been confirmed, however, the directors have been in contact with four actors they feel can hold the mantle of the desi vampires. All four are young heartthrobs of current Bollywood: Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan, Prateik Babbar and Ali Zafar. A fair choice of actors, we think.

As soon as the name is finalized, we shall let you know. Meanwhile, who do you think will be, or should be, our desi Edward Cullen?
