Amidst all the drama between the MNS leaders and the Pakistani artist, one artist takes out the time to cherish moments of one of her most loved TV shows.

She is none other than Mahira Khan. Five years back Mahira Khan starred opposite Fawad Khan in a TV show named 'Humsafar'. The 23 episode emotional drama was an instant hit. The repeat telecast of this show was shown on Zee Channel's Zindagi. This made the show a success in India as well.

Today as the show finishes five years, Mahira took to her insta account and shared a video of the same with a thoughtful note. "Whatever one may say in the future about Humsafar and all that has been said in the past doesn't come close to what Humsafar is and forever will be for the people attached to it. As Sarmad says it was a blessed project, which blessed all those who were a part of it...! Thank you, to All of you for making it what it is today.. you've been the best humsafars... Wow! this show was indeed better than most of the senseless stuff we watch these days on TV.

Mahira Khan, if all goes well, will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees, which is slated to release in January next year.
