Multitalented Farhan Akhtar on the 14th February has had another extremely busy day as his production house's next Gully Boy released across the country, Farhan performed at the concert called Lalkar for his initiative MARD and then at the very same night, the actor flew to Boston for the MIT conference.
Farhan Akhtar along with other singers and artists performed for at the Bandra Fort for MARD which stands for Men Against Rape and Discrimination which was launched by Farhan in 2013 and the campaign aims to raise social awareness against rape and discrimination of women. The actor has always tried and done his bit to help and contribute to society.
Farhan finished the concert and straight away headed to the airport and flew to Boston for the MIT conference, of India in Cambridge. The theme for the 2019's conference is "India's Competitive Edge" and the actor has been invited as a Keynote speaker for the conference. The conference is scheduled for the 16th February where he would be addressing Gender-based Inequality and violence through cinema.
Farhan Akhtar who is not only a brilliant actor-director, producer but has also carved a niche for himself in the writing space. Farhan who has written many successful films is also a poet, a writer, and a credible influencer who raises his voice on many social issues.
Recently, Farhan released his solo debut album Echoes in London.
The actor is also prepping for his recently announced sports drama 'Toofan'. Farhan has been treating the fans with the insights from his daily workout routine as the role demands a muscular physique, Farhan has been sweating it out in the gym pumping iron apart from also taking up boxing.
The actor will be next seen in "The Sky Is Pink' co-starring Priyanka Chopra and starting the shoot of the recently announced film Toofan, in which he is essaying the role of a boxer and already started the prep for the role. Farhan has also presented recently released Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gully Boy.
