Farhan Akhtar reveals why he requested Abhay Deol not to sing!

Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has been a part of the industry for more than two decades now. He has not only impressed the audience with his acting or singing, but the multi-talented star has also produced and directed various movies and web-series. 

Recently, Farhan had made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his upcoming movie The Sky Is Pink, when the host of the show Kapil Sharma asked the Rock On actor about a rumour. The rumour being that Farhan was so impressed with Abhay's singing in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’s Senorita, that he offered him to sing all the songs of his upcoming movies.

Well, what can we say? 

Rubbishing the rumours, the 45-year-old actor revealed that he had done the exact opposite he had requested Abhay to not sing any songs after Senorita, so that the exclusivity of the song remains alive. 

Farhan revealed, “No, this is not true. I was highly impressed with his singing but I didn't offer him songs from my upcoming movies. Instead, I asked him to not sing any song after 'Senorita' so that the exclusivity of the song remains alive.”

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara starred Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Kalki Koechlin and Abhay Deol in lead roles. From its songs to the chemistry between the actors, the movie had made a great impact on the audience.

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie The Sky Is Pink, which stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Rohit Saraf and Zaira Wasim in lead roles. The actor-director is also being lauded for his first look from his film Toofan, which is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
