Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar has been brutally active about the CAA issue on his twitter handle. He has clearly chosen his stand by tweeting against the act and has repeatedly drawn lines to show his support.
No sooner the Citizenship Amendment Act was passed by the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, several Bollywood celebrities - Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Anurag Kashyap have spoken against the bill and stood by the students of Jamia Millia University, Delhi.
One of them was Farhan Akhtar and now he has been accused of inciting fear with his Tweet which read: “Here’s what you need to know about why these protests are important. See you on the 19th at August Kranti Maidan, Mumbai. The time to protest on social media alone is over."
The tweet definitely did not go down well with a few and one of them was senior IPS officer Sandeep Mittal found him breaking the law and tagged Mumbai Police and the National Investigation Agency of India.
An official complaint has been filed against Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar by Hindu Sanghatan for posting seditious posts on Twitter. The complaint also specifically stated that he intended, ‘to cause fear, chaos and thereby instigating, Muslim, transgender, atheists, Dalits to wage a war against the nation which may lead to anarchy and also promoting enmity between communities.’
The report in SpotboyE also saw a copy of the complaint against the 45-year-old.

He is not been targeted.he deserve this ..come to Delhi jamia mr akhtar and see what blunder these peaceful jamia so called students caused .that day was terrible..they were throwing stones and raising slogans against hindus chanting muslim slogans ..they damaged public property ,cars etc..don't call them innocent ..How transgenders...dalits and other group will be effected ..please explain this to all the people ..U were the one who tweeted wrong map of india where Kashmir was not part of india and then saying u r innocent ..Please explain all the wrong CAA will do to Muslims in whose name all raised a wrong situation in india ..NCR is only applicable to Assam and that too by the agreement done by late rajiv Gandhi. NCR is not started for rest of india ...why this so much halla over it ...Even if it start it's not going to impact Indian Muslims.they r Indians..How they will be left out plz explain ...mostly all Indians have adhar card ,voter ids, passports ,school documents etc..No Indian will be left out ..Trust ur govt please....if u can't raise ur voice ..tell others to raise voice giving all facts no fake..Raise voice peacefully not violently coz it kill innocents others .here in Jamia police was not wrong as protesters behaved violently...that areas have many schools so police did best to save them
