Fahadh Faasil wraps up key schedule for Pushpa 2, promises vengeance in epic face-off with Allu Arjun

Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to the highly anticipated film directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, is generating significant excitement among fans. The film's shoot is progressing rapidly, and the makers recently announced the completion of a crucial schedule featuring Fahadh Faasil, who portrays the character Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. 

They shared a behind-the-scenes picture and teased that his character would return with a vengeance in the sequel.

The second instalment is expected to surpass the first in scale and quality. The first part concluded with Bhanwar harbouring a deep grudge against Pushpa Raj, setting the stage for an epic face-off in the franchise's second film. Fahadh Faasil was introduced as the primary antagonist in Pushpa: The Rise.

The film's makers took to Twitter to share a photo of Fahadh Faasil and Sukumar on the set, announcing the completion of a critical schedule for Pushpa 2: The Rule with Fahadh Faasil's character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. They emphasized that this time he would return with a vengeance.

On Allu Arjun's birthday last month, the makers unveiled the first look and a glimpse video of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which created a buzz on the internet—Allu Arjun's unconventional attire in a saree, bangles, and more left fans in awe. The teaser reintroduced Allu Arjun's famous character, Pushpa Raj, and showcased his journey towards establishing dominance in the sequel. Additionally, the sequel will provide closure to Pushpa Raj's life by delving into his childhood and relationships with his father and half-siblings.

Pushpa 2: The Rule boasts a larger scale and a star-studded cast, with additional cast members yet to be announced. 

Reports suggest that Sai Pallavi and Vijay Sethupathi are part of the film, alongside Rashmika Mandanna reprising her role as Srivalli. The film's technical team includes Miroslaw Kuba Brozek as the cinematographer and Devi Sri Prasad as the music composer.

The official release date for Pushpa 2: The Rule has not been announced yet, but the film is expected to hit theatres in 2024.
