Esha Gupta is all set to join actor Bobby Deol for the third season of Aashram

Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has a great track record of successful movies under his belt and has been leaving a commendable mark on the audience with his back to back performances on OTT platforms.

The 52-year-old actor is back with his role as Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala. According to Peepingmoon, Bobby Deol's critically acclaimed web series Aashram's third season is set to begin filming next month. Following the success of the first two seasons of Prakash Jha's crime-drama series - premiered in August and November 2020, respectively - the streaming platform MX Player is now ramping up for the third season. The upcoming season of the show will continue the same storyline, which revolves around a self-proclaimed God-man, who wields power superior to the executive and the administrative.

According to reports, Jannat 2 actress Esha Gupta has joined the cast of Aashram for the third season. The actress was last seen in Zee5's RejctX 2 and will now play the role of Bobby Deol's publicist who helps him build his public image as the Messiah of the lower strata of the society.

Other actors such as Chandan Roy Sanyal, Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Anupriya Goenka, Vikram Kochhar, and Rajeev Siddhartha among others will also return to their respective characters as seen in the last season. The shooting is scheduled to begin on September 10 in Jaipur and then after which the team will head to Bhopal to film the next schedule till the first week of November.

The Aashram season 3 is expected to be bigger and full of surprises than the previous chapters. The upcoming season was supposed to go on floors in April, however, the schedule was delayed owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
