Emergency: Kangana Ranaut finally answers on whether she’ll quit acting for a political career

Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency is coming on September 6, 2024. This is the actress’ debut as a director. Kangana Ranaut plays the role of Indira Gandhi in the movie. There are many who feel that Kangana Ranaut might quit acting after Emergency. Her last few releases have flopped at the box office, and a lot depends on the performance of Emergency. There are many who believe that she too is going to bid adieu to movies. Kangana Ranaut has become a member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh and is working actively in politics.

At the press meet, Kangana Ranaut said her future as an actress was in the hands of the public. She said that she never aspired to become a politician. But it was the party that gave her the ticket. She said if Emergency works and people want to see more of her in films, she would continue her work as an artiste.

She has a movie with R Madhavan in the pipeline. The two were fabulous together in the Tanu Weds Manu movies. Kangana Ranaut said she is happy letting life decide what will be the path henceforth. She said if she feels she is better off in politics, that will be the way ahead for her.

Everybody knows the film industry has boycotted me. It’s not easy to stand with me, its not easy to be part of my film, and its definitely not easy to praise me. But, they have done all of it.

Emergency also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade and Mahima Chaudhary. She said that making this movie was a tough task. As a new producer and director, she faced a number of issues. She said she is thankful to the cast for staying by her side. Kangana Ranaut said it is an open truth that Bollywood has completely boycotted her. She said her team did the film knowing fully well that they could face censure from other folks in the industry.

Kangana Ranaut won by a huge margin from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. It is her hometown. The actress owns a sprawling home in the city of Manali. Aanand L Rai said that she has thought of a new Tanu Weds Manu movie. Let us see if she makes a comeback with those films.
