Emergency, the biopic starring Kangana Ranaut, experienced a decline in its daily box office collections in India on its first Monday. The film had a solid performance during its opening weekend in the country.
As per the latest update from Sacnilk.com, Emergency has crossed the Rs 10 crore mark at the box office. The report indicates that the film earned Rs 0.93 crore on its fourth day of release, marking its lowest single-day collection to date. The total earnings for the film now stand at Rs 11.28 crore. Emergency garnered ?2.5 crore on its opening day, followed by ?3.6 crore on its first Saturday, and ?4.25 crore on its first Sunday. On its first Monday, the film earned approximately ?1 crore.
On Monday, Kangana posted a video message on her Instagram, expressing her gratitude to fans for their support of the film. She also addressed the protests occurring in Canada and Britain related to it.

About the film
Directed by Kangana Ranaut, the film delves into the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the turbulent period of the 1975 Emergency. In addition to Ranaut, the cast includes Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, the late Satish Kaushik, Mahima Chaudhry, and Vishak Nair in key roles.
Emergency was released in theaters on January 17, alongside Azaad, which marked the debut of Aaman Devgn and Rasha Thadani.
