Elvish Yadav responds to outrage over assaulting Maxtern, labelling it pre-planned

Social media platforms are flooded with viral videos showcasing YouTuber Elvish Yadav engaging in physical violence, including thrashing, slapping, and brutally beating fellow creator Sagar Thaku, also known as Maxtern. The release of this video has sparked a variety of reactions from the audience; while some speculate that it might be a prank, others have taken to social media using the hashtag #ArrestElvishYadav.

In response to the distressing footage depicting Yadav allegedly assaulting Thakur, the Gurugram police have taken action against Yadav. However, Maxtern, through his Instagram account, is demanding justice for the assault. He criticizes the bailable charges outlined in the FIR and advocates for non-bailable charges of attempted murder. Maxtern is urging Yadav's immediate arrest to ensure accountability and to deter similar incidents from occurring in the future.

However, Elvish Yadav took to his Instagram account to address the escalating controversy, urging his followers to hear his side of the story. He asserted his right to present his perspective on the matter, emphasizing the need for fairness in the discourse surrounding the incident.

According to Elvish, the roots of this confrontation date back eight months to his participation in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2. He alleges that Maxtern has been incessantly targeting him on social media platforms, which is evident through a barrage of tweets directed against him. Despite having previously shared an amicable rapport during a shoot, Elvish became increasingly perplexed by Maxtern's persistent provocations, suspecting ulterior motives behind his actions.

Elvish explained that he and Maxtern had previously met and gotten along well during a video shoot. However, things took a turn when Maxtern began targeting him online, seemingly to gain more followers. Elvish found this behaviour confusing and decided to respond to Maxtern's comments. But as time went on, Maxtern started interfering in all aspects of Elvish's life. Elvish reminded Maxtern that they both lived in Delhi and thought it was time to settle things once and for all.

Elvish reached out to Maxtern to talk things over directly, asking for his phone number to clear up any misunderstandings. Maxtern suggested meeting in person, so Elvish shared his address, inviting Maxtern to come over to his house for a conversation, emphasizing that he didn't intend any violence.

However, things escalated when Maxtern allegedly threatened to burn him and his family alive, leading to a heated argument where both parties exchanged insults. Eventually, Elvish asked Maxtern to meet him somewhere, but Maxtern chose a location at his friend's garment shop. Elvish believes Maxtern planned this encounter in advance, even wearing a microphone to capture the argument for social media.

Contrary to claims of Maxtern being alone, Yadav clarified that Thakur was not alone during the altercation; instead, there were four others who didn't intervene. Yadav's associates were merely trying to intervene and defuse the situation. Yadav justified his actions by highlighting the severity of the threats made against his family, questioning how anyone would react to such provocations.

The conflict between Yadav and Thakur originated from a social media spat, with Thakur publicly calling Yadav a "hypocrite" after a photo surfaced of Yadav with Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui at a cricket match.

As the fallout from the incident continues to unfold, the internet remains divided over who is truly at fault, with supporters of both Yadav and Thakur passionately defending their respective positions.
