Elvish Yadav, a prominent YouTuber and reality TV personality, recently embarked on a new chapter as a gang leader on MTV Roadies XX. His debut season culminated in a significant achievement when his gang member, Kushal Tanwar—affectionately known as Gullu—clinched the winner's trophy. In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Elvish shared his emotions and experiences following this milestone.

When asked about the first person he contacted after Gullu's victory, Elvish said, ''Mummy ko call kara maine sabse pehle. Maine video call kara, main hamesha yahi karta hoon ke 'mumma yaar iss baar nahi jeeta yaar.' Toh mummy ne kaha, 'Nahi hua?' Maine kaha nahi yaar iss bar nahi. Toh phir maine mummy ko kaha, 'jeet gaya jeet gaya.' Mummy itni khush hogayi, phir mujhe dikhaya video call pe, Hanuman chalisa laga rakhi hai ghar mein TV pe. Keh rahi, 'yahan toh pooja chal rahi hai proper, kaise nahi jeetega.' So mummy ko call kara maine, papa ko maine message kar ke bataya. Uske baad Dinesh bhai ko bataya, toh 3-4 logo maine bataya ke jeet gaya, toh bahut khush hogaye sab.''

(I called my mom first. I made a video call—I always tell her, ‘Mumma, I didn’t win this time.’ So she asked, ‘You didn’t win?’ I said, ‘No, not this time.’ But then I told her, ‘I won, I won!’ She was so happy. Then she showed me over video call that Hanuman Chalisa was playing on the TV at home. She said, ‘We’re doing a proper prayer here; how could you not win?’ So I called my mom, texted my dad, and then told Dinesh Bhai. I shared the news with 3–4 people, and everyone was overjoyed.)

Gullu's strategic gameplay and resilience were pivotal in his success, earning him accolades from both his mentor and fans alike. His rise from an underdog to champion highlighted themes of drama, betrayal, and redemption that defined this season. Gullu’s win was considered a calculated gamble that paid off, making his victory all the more remarkable and inspiring. Entering Roadies as a first-time gang leader, Elvish faced the challenge of leading a team of seasoned contestants. He acknowledged the learning curve involved, ''OGS ke sath bhi aur unke bina bhi jeetna bahut badi baat hai. But main bahut khush tha, kyunki baaki jo log thhe itne saalo se, unhe pata hai format kya hai roadies ka, task kaise hote hai, baki chizein, unhe sab pata hai par mujhe kuch nahi pata tha, ekdum naya. Ye task mein kya hoga, kaun jeetega kaun haarega, koi idea nahi. Unko harana tha aisa nahi, par jeet ke bahut bada achievement hai bhai, unko haraane mein nahi par mere jeet ne mein bahut badi achievement hai.'' (Winning both with and without the OGs is a huge deal. I was very happy because the others had been part of the show for years—they knew the format, how tasks worked, everything. I knew nothing. I had no idea what the tasks would be, who would win or lose—nothing. It wasn’t about defeating them, but winning itself was a major achievement, brother. Not in defeating them, but in my own victory—that was the achievement.)

For the uninformed, during MTV Roadies XX, a heated confrontation between Elvish Yadav and Prince Narula grabbed major attention. The argument erupted during a task, where both personalities exchanged sharp words. Elvish appeared to question Prince’s relevance, implying that his time had passed, to which Prince quickly responded by reminding him of his decade-long presence in the industry. Things escalated when both accused each other of legal issues, leading to threats of physical altercation. Their intense exchange went viral, sparking debates online about ego clashes and competition among the show's leaders. However, the feud didn’t last long. Soon after, both Elvish and Prince addressed the situation publicly. In a joint video, they clarified that the incident was blown out of proportion and fueled by fans' reactions. Prince called Elvish his “younger brother,” and Elvish affirmed that everything between them was now sorted. However, looks like, as the show proceeded, things have gotten out of hand between the two once again.

As for Elvish, as the Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame continues to diversify his career, his fans eagerly anticipate his future endeavors. Whether it's his ongoing stint on Laughter Chefs 2 or potential appearances in other reality shows, Elvish's journey from a digital content creator to a multifaceted television personality showcases his adaptability and growth in the entertainment industry.
