Ekta Kapoor goes against the wave of CRITICISM; backs up 'Lipstick Under My Burkha'!

The film, Lipstick Under My Burkha came as a shock to the censor board. It took a lot of heat for being 'woman-oriented' and its content was deemed as too bold. However, the film appealed to TV producer, Ekta Kapoor and she is on-board as a presenter and distributor. 

The TV czarina is all for a liberal representation of female sexuality. She went against the wave of criticism and put in her support for the radical film. 

Her post mentions her stance as she rejoices in unveiling the release date! 

Ekta Kapoor became a household name for producing saas-bahu serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. She has now turned towards more progressive content. With Alt Balaji breaking stereotypes and taking advantage of the absence of a censor board, the producer makes her way through film censor board as well!
