'Dunno Y...' to be screened at iView film festival

New Delhi, June 15 (IANS) Sanjay Sharma's 'Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyun', about homosexuality, will be screened at the iView Film Festival to be held in New York in September.

The movie, which recently won accolades at Kashish's Mumbai Queer International Film Festival, revolves around a struggling model who goes to Mumbai in search of fame and fortune and then forms an intimate relationship with another man.

The film that features actors like Kapil Sharma, Maradona Rebello, Helen, Zeenat Aman and Rituparna Sengupta is yet to release in India.

Internationally acclaimed Indian filmmaker Mira Nair is in the selection committee of the iView festival this year.

Karan Johar's 'Dostana' that deals with homosexuality in a humorous manner opened the iView film festival last year.
