Doting father Ranvir's woes (Movie Snippets)

Ranvir Shorey loves his work, but the actor finds it tough to leave his baby boy home.

"Nowadays the toughest thing going to work is leaving my little son behind. Should try glueing him to my arm. Maybe no one will notice," Ranvir posted on Twitter.

The actor, who is married to Konkona Sensharma, became a father in 2011. Their son, named Haroon, turned one March 15.

Ranvir will next be seen in Deepa Mehta's "Winds of Change", a film adaptation of Salman Rushdie's 1981 novel of the same name.

I'd love to do Rajkumar Hirani's film: Aamir

After scoring a six with Rajkumar Hirani in "3 Idiots", Aamir Khan is open to again working with the director.

"I would love to do Raju's film. But I want him to make the announcement. The script is very good. Raju is a very good director and a very good human being. We have spoken about a film, but it's better if he announces it," said Aamir.

The said film is tentatively titled "PK". However Aamir is occupied with his TV show "Satyameva Jayate", due to which the release of his film "Talaash" has also been pushed towards the end of 2012.

Akshay plays shades of Ranjeet

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar says his character's traits in "Housefull 2" are inpired by the way veteran actor Ranjeet used to ogle at women in his earlier films.

"My character in the film is that of a guy who loves admiring women. He easily gets distracted by the presence of beautiful women. There are many men who do that...they forget the conversation and start ogling at women," Akshay told IANS.

"My character takes little inspiration from Ranjeet sir..like he used to be in his earlier films. It does not take from the negative shades of Ranjeet but the way he used to look at the women," he added.

"Housefull 2", directed by Sajid Khan, will release April 5.
