Disha Patani remembers late co-star SSR as ‘M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story’ clocks 7
Today as the film marks 7 years, Disha took to her social media handle and penned a heartfelt note remembering her late co-star Sushant and pouring gratitude to the role.

Disha Patani has been one of the most loved actresses in thé tinsel town. Deemed to be the national crush during her beginning days of the career, she has gained a name for herself in the industry. The actress made her big debut in 2016 with ‘M.S Dhoni: An Untold Stoey’ co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani. The film helmed by Neeraj Pandey was a blockbuster hit and it gave Disha the much needed recognition to kickstart her acting career.
Today as the film marks 7 years, Disha took to her social media handle and penned a heartfelt note remembering her late co-star Sushant and pouring gratitude to the role. She shared a still from the film featuring her and SSR and wrote, read, "#msdhonitheuntoldstory 7 years back Where my journey started..Grateful for all the love and acceptance (red heart and blue butterfly emoji). Sushant I hope you are happy and in peace (folded hands, teary-eyed and a black heart emoji)"

For the unversed, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ was a sports biopic based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Disha Patani played Dhoni’s love interest in the film who later dies of a car accident. It featured Sushant Singh Rajput as the titular character along with Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Anupam Kher, and Bhumika Chawla. The film was highly appreciated by the viewers and also achieved great numbers at the box office.
Shedding light on Disha Patani’s professional endeavours. She will next be seen in the film, ‘Yodha’ which also stars Sidharth Malhotra alongside her. The actress is also set to play a pivotal part in the film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ featuring alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan. The film is set to hit the theatres on 12 January 2024.
