Dimple Jhangiani in Ekta's next...

‘Every good thing has to meet its end, and with the next dawn comes more happiness!!’ and this is exactly what Ekta Kapoor seems to be aiming at!!

With one of Balaji Telefilms’ longest running show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii shutting shop on October 9th, there begins a new chapter and much more to come from the stables of the ‘Soap Queen’!!

While a love story in the midst of a family feud will take centre stage on Star Plus as a replacement to Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Ekta has yet another show in the pipeline for which the channel has not been finalized yet.

According to our well-placed source, “The new Balaji show is titled 'Kabhie Kabhie Isse Junoon Kehte Hai' and the story track will follow the lives of four young girls”.

The buzz is that this show will be the first of Balaji Telefilms’ on NDTV Imagine. However, our source informs us, “The channel has not been finalized yet and talks are on with many other channels too”.

And above all, Dimple Jhangiani the bubbly Kanya of Kuch Is Tarah who recently bagged the role of the parallel lead in Kis Des Main Hai Meraa Dil will be one of the lead protagonists in this new show. “Dimple has signed and her character will be on the lines of the vivacious Charu aka Surveen Chawla in Kahin Toh Hoga”, explains our source.

“The other three girls will be new faces and have not been cast yet”, concludes our source.

Well, only time will tell whether Ekta will be able to recreate the ‘Kahin Toh Hoga’ magic!!!
