Dill Mill Gayye completes 200 episodes!!

Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye completed 200 episodes on 31st July and there is a surprise guest too on the sets!! Well, are you all excited?? Here is Telly Buzz giving you all the details…

A puja followed by a cake cutting ceremony in the evening were the highlights of the day, but the biggest surprise turned out to be the entry of handsome hunk Karan Singh Grover’s lady love, Shraddha Nigam on the sets, but was this a surprise that was really planned? Well, the answer is NO, as she came to hand over the continuity jacket that Karan had forgotten!! Alas!!

But, as they say ‘All’s well that ends well’ and the hero of the day Karan convinced his beau to be a part of the gala celebration. Then began the party and before the cake was cut, the entire cast and crew sang in chorus the title track of Dill Mill Gayye, but the naughty interns had their eyes pinned at the yummy chocolate cake.

Karan gave all the credit for his improved acting to Shraddha. “The improvising I do in my scenes of late is all because of her comments. I remember, when I started shooting for DMG, I used to call her almost everyday to get acting tips”, confesses Karan. Shraddha immediately covers up to say, “It’s all you and your hard work that has made you a brilliant actor today”.

We could not stop from asking Shraddha whether she actually planned her visit to the sets today with a purpose!! With a big smile on her face, Shraddha replies, “It is actually a coincidence!! Karan forgot his jacket, wearing which he goes on a date with Riddhima; so I had to get it for him for continuity sake”.

A very happy Karan says, “It is such a nice feeling to complete 200 episodes. We would now want to reach many more milestones!!”.

His on screen girlfriend Sukriti Khandpal aka Dr. Riddhima opines, “I am glad that we have completed 200 episodes. I am thoroughly enjoying my time and work in DMG. I am happy that the audience, production house and channel have accepted me. It is almost a family to me now, I want to convey a big thanks to all”.

Lastly, we spoke to Sunil Mehta, MD, Cinevistas who said, “We wish to add one more zero to the 200 by God’s grace, to make it 2000 episodes!!” Well, does it mean we will see Karan play a grand papa? “Well, I am sure everyone will love even that", says Sunil as he laughs.
