'I was attracted to Karan Singh Grover's..': Barkha Bisht on dating & parting ways with the actor

Barkha Bisht, often remembered for her stint in shows like 'Naamkaran,' 'Ramleela' and more, recently opened up on experiencing her first heartbreak in Mumbai. The actress, in a recent conversation with Siddharth Kanan, accepts once being in a relationship with Karan Singh Grover and then parting ways after two years.

When asked if she was dating Karan, the actress, accepting the same, says, ''Yes, I was dating him for 2 years, yeah Karan and I were dating.'' Barkha was then asked what attracted her towards the actor and she says, ''I don't know, hum itne chote thhe but mujhe yaad hai ke Karan was a very kind person. Mujhe kindness bahut attract karti hai logon mein. Unhe dekh kar aisa lagta hai, like you said he is good looking and he has a great body and people think he has a certain attitude but unke andar ek inherent kindness hai jo I really got attracted to kyunki Bombay mein bahut log kind nahi hote, zyadatar log kind nahi hote, toh jahan bhi mujhe kindness milti hai na, I am always attracted to that. So that was definitely one of the things.''

''But yeah, lets not forget bahut hi good looking hai. (giggles) The six packs, come on, I was 23, so what do you expect,'' Barkha further adds.

Further opening up on parting ways with Karan amidst the two of them's extreme popularity at that point of time, Barkha, when asked, what exactly went wrong, says, ''Nothing went wrong. Like I said, hum bahut chote thhe us samay and I think over a period of time, we grew into different people. So it was just that, nothing went wrong as such. We grew into different people, I think our views on life changed, so yeah it was just the only thing, but otherwise there was nothing.''

For the uninformed, Barkha later got married to Indraneil Sengupta and the couple parted ways after 15 years of their marriage. The actress also accused of Sengupta cheating on her. On the other hand, Karan Singh Grover is now married to Bipasha Basu.
