Diljit Dosanjh HITS BACK at Harshwardhan's statements on Awards!

Diljit Dosanjh gives a reply to Harshvardhan Kapoor's statements made on his win in at recent award function.

Mirzya actor Harshwardhan Kapoor was recently in the news after he had expressed his disappointment on Diljit Dosanjh being awarded in the category of 'Best Debutant Male' at a popular award show. He had stated that Diljit has worked in several Punjabi films before stepping in the Hindi cinema and thus it's unfair to confer him under the category of 'Best Debutant'.

Hitting back to all the allegations made by Harshwardhan, Diljit told a publication that, "I wasn't affected by what Harshvardhan said. In fact, I am a huge fan of Anil Kapoor sir. I have no issues with him [Harshvardhan]. Being Anil Kapoor's son makes him a star son and not star right? "He will also become a big star someday. I have no hard feelings towards him".

As far as my knowledge goes, Dhanush sir, who has worked in so many films down south also won best debutant award (Raanjhanaa, 2013) and Fawad Khan, who has done TV and films in Pakistan, also received the same honour (Khoobsurat, 2014). So I was surely not nominated in the wrong category, but I did not expect to win". (sic)

Diljit made it very clear that his win the award show was justified and he stays unaffected by the statements made by Harshvardhan.
