Did you know: Aamir Dalvi is a professional Dirt Bike racer?

We are undoubtedly a cricket loving nation. But there are some people who are in awe of some sports which are all the more thrilling but have not garnered the same kind of attention.

One of those many is, Aamir Dalvi (Shapath - Super Cops v/s Super Villains) who was recently spotted racing at the Pune Invitational Super Cross League which hosts a Motocross race. 

And guess what? Aamir won the second position at the championship!

We hence buzzed the actor to know more about his passion for the sport. 

He averred, "I am in love with dirt bikes from the age of 9 years and I started racing professionally from 16 years of age. Since then I have been participating but I do not take up National championships because they are held in various cities and is physically straining. This would affect my acting career. However, I stood at the second position in this years championship."

Speaking about his love for the sport he said, "I have never been a cricket lover. I remember when my friends used to play cricket I indulged myself in football. What I really like about this sport over others is that winning or loosing completely depends on you. Other games such as cricket work in teams but Motocross is a one man show. Just like acting - If you are good the industry accepts you else thrown out! I really enjoy the thrill of being airborne upto 10 to 40 feet in the air!"
