Recently, singer Guru Randhawa appeared to criticize Diljit Dosanjh's team for allegedly using controversies rather than focusing on talent.

Guru took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and called out Diljit for alleged fake PR stunts, which he claims happen monthly. Diljit Dosanjh recently addressed the controversy, telling the BBC Asian Network that the project was completed before current political tensions arose.
