Dhadak 2: Siddhant & Triptii quietly deliver a love song that sticks

After the emotional weight of Bas Ek Dhadak, Dhadak 2 releases its second song titled Preet Re. Featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, the track moves away from spectacle and leans into simplicity. It’s about early feelings. Soft looks. Unsaid truths. Darshan Raval, Rochak Kohli, and Jonita Gandhi lend their voices to the song. Rochak Kohli also composes the track, while Gurpreet Saini pens the lyrics. There is no overproduction here. Just intent. Kohli calls it a tribute to honest love. Gandhi talks about capturing innocence. Raval describes it as that moment when someone starts meaning the world.

Produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, Dhadak 2 releases in cinemas on August 1, 2025. The film does not seem to be chasing the legacy of the first Dhadak. Instead, it is carving out its own space. One of quieter emotions and deeper resonance.
