Dev Keswani has been in news ever since he got back to television with Star Plus’ Grahasti as a replacement for Akshay Sethi.
The biggest irony now is that the actor who was unceremoniously dumped for Amit Verma in Annu Ki Hogayee Wah Bhai Wah has been the replacement specialist in many a serials. After getting cast as the new Raunak in Grahasti, he fits into the shoes of the character Dheer in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.
Dheer has been planted by his businessman brother Rishabh, played by Jai Kalra into the Juneja family. Dev is pretty excited to go negative now. “Dheer has negative shades and I am happy to play the extreme opposite now”, says he. The actor is proud to be part of the Balaji family. “It is a great feeling to be part of such a renowned production house”, avers Dev.
If sources are to be believed, Dheer will get positive as the story progresses.
He was also approached for the role of Arjun in Ekta’s Mahaabhaarat on 9X, but things did not work out there and the role was grabbed by Sid Makkar recently. As of now, Dev is a happy man playing Raunak and Dheer in his two serials.
