Date Night with..?

Post the release and subsequent success of Kurbaan at BO, Saifeena fans have had every reason to await the comeback of the real life jodi, on screen.


Yes, there is the Mr. and Mrs. Smith inspired Agent Vinod to look forward to! For Chote Nawab apparently, that was not enough for the while. Saif, had been speculating a remake, with girlfriend/fiance Kareena Kapoor, of the soon to release Hollywood movie, Date Night (starring Steve Carell, Tina Frey).


It was in this thought process that he convinced Bebo to catch the specially showcased premiere show of the movie recently.


However, having seen the movie has changed his mind. Saif, and Bebo, are both certain the movie script calls for a more mature looking and thinking couple as its lead - perhaps the kind one can find in Kajol and Ajay? In fact, as we hear it, the latter have considered stepping into the shoes very seriously. Who knows, they might just take up the idea and set to entertain the audience as an onscreen couple after the few years long hiatus?


For the while, Saifeena are definitely out.
