Confirmed! Vidya Balan to return as Monjulika in 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2'

If the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiya 2 wasn't big enough, it just got bigger. Actor Vidya Balan, who played the role of iconic Monjulika in Bhool Bhulaiya is said to be reprising her role in the sequel. That's right.

The report suggested that Balan and Bhool Bhulaiya 2 director Anees Bazmee's equation goes back to 2011 where she made an appearance in the film, Thank You. Coming to Balan, she made the character of Monjulika, ghost of a royal dancer memorable. Whether or not Balan will be dancing to the iconic 'aami je tomar' again or appear post the climax, we will have to wait and see.

The Midday report revealed that Bazmee has confirmed the development. He called Monjulika his "favourite character" and said that if the film is Bhool Bhulaiyaa, she has to be there in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

On her own workfront, Balan is all set to be seen in the film Jalsa and an untitled film with Pratik Gandhi.
