CONFIRMED! Sara Ali Khan to star opposite Varun Dhawan in Coolie No 1!

Coolie No 1, originally directed by David Dhawan, starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor, is all set for a remake. This movie will star a fresh pair, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan.

Sara Ali Khan made her debut last year with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath and went on to feature in Rohit Shetty's blockbuster Simmba.

The makers announced the confirmation, "It's official... After 25 years David Dhawan and Vashu Bhagnani come back together to adapt their timeless comedy, Coolie No 1. The film starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan begin shoot this August".

For quite some time now there have been speculations about Sara playing the female lead opposite Varun Dhawan in the modern adaptation of the hit comedy. After Judwaa 2, the film marks David and Varun's second collaboration.

On the work front, Varun's recent release was Kalank and he will next be seen in Street Dancer 3D opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
