Complaint filed against Sara for not wearing helmet during film shoot

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan were recently shooting in Delhi for Imtiaz Ali's upcoming romantic drama, tentatively titled Aaj Kal. During one of the BTS videos, Sara was seen riding pillion on a bike and she got heavily trolled on social media for not wearing a helmet.

Now in a rather unfortunate turn of events, a complaint has been filed against Sara for the same. As per a report in News 18, the Delhi Traffic Police on Tuesday asked for her details as she did not went pillion riding on a bike during the film's shoot. Reportedly, a senior police official further stated that necessary action will be taken under the Motor Vehicles Act after all the facts about the incident are received, perused and verified.

For the unversed, the complainant had demanded an action against Sara for the alleged violation of law and pointed out that she should not be spared just because she is an actor. Now as further investigation is underway, we will have to wait and see how the matter takes its turn.

Earlier too, her co-star from Kedarnath, Sushant Singh Rajput, was seen riding pillion without a helmet in Mumbai after the release of his Sonchiriya. However, no police action was taken against him.
