Child prodigy Dhriti Bhatia makes a comeback

We remember the cute little kid Dhriti Bhatia as the small Krishn in Colors' Jai Shri Krishna who created waves in the TV industry at the age of two. After stepping out of the limelight for studies, Dhriti makes a comeback now with an equally challenging role in Sahara One and Swastik Pictures' Mata Ki Chowki.

Our source tells us, "Dhriti plays Durga ma who comes down to earth in the form of a kid to save Sakshi (Muskaan Arora) from the negative forces".

When contacted, Gagan Bhatia, Dhriti's dad confirmed the news saying, "Yes, Dhriti comes back to TV with Mata ki Chowki. She got many offers, but we wanted one role that would match her previous successful one. Also here she gets the girlish look which will be contrasting to the Krishna look which has created a benchmark".

We hear that Dhriti has started shoot and the channel will air her promo soon.

We tried contacting Producer Siddharth Tewary and sent him a text message but he remained unavailable. Our efforts to get to Mushtaq Shiekh, Creative Director, Sahara One were futile..
