The pre-monsoon showers have abated the heat for now. After the heat soaring as high as 48 degrees Celsius, rains lashed some parts of India over the past week, bringing mild respite from the heat wave.
While we sat in an air-conditioned office, finished our daily chores and returned home to watch our daily dose of entertainment, our favourite TV stars slogged their way to bring in blockbuster performances much to the visual delight of their fans. But along with their performance came in a lot of stress due to the heat. Let's take a look at how the pre-monsoon showers have come in as a relief for the actors.

It is the rains that add new flavour to one's life. Monsoon is essential for nature to prosper. It is something which brings in new happiness and hope, so with the pre-monsoon showers coming in, I am excitedly waiting for a thorough shower and I pray to the universe for the betterment of our planet earth... Jai Shankar

With such a humid weather playing a spoilsport, monsoon definitely would be a relief. I have had a lot of difficulties due to heat, suffered from dehydration, sunburns, and severe tanning. This would be my second monsoon in Mumbai and with the pre-monsoon showers; I look forward to a lot of long drives.

I have been shooting in Rishikesh in extremely hot conditions. When I arrived in Mumbai, the city welcomed me with the bliss of rain. The relief was divine! But due to the sudden climatic change, I got unwell. I rushed to my doctor and was on a break for 2 days. I am thankful to the Directors Kut team, who supported me and granted me this break to recover.
I hope that Yeh Rishta...would have some romantic rain sequences between Karthik and Naira which would be lovely to shoot as I have got dehydrated shooting in the heat. With the monsoon coming in, I'm all set to rock!

Monsoon will be a great relief especially solving the water problems in so many states. The heat will subside and the climate will become better. I see the rains coming in as a relief for human beings and animals as well. There is a dense scarcity of water and I am hopeful to experience a 'Mumbaiya baarish' very soon! Talking about shooting, touchwood, I did not face a lot of difficulties as not many scenes were scheduled outdoor. But yeah, the air-condition doesn't work on the sets because of such high temperature all over.

Well, it's quite a relief to have had pre-monsoon showers! Not only Mumbai, I feel that we should see the bigger picture of our state and country as water is the need of the hour. This global warming has put the weather cycles for a toss!!! Shooting in this heat is terribly difficult! I was shooting the whole of last month in Pune for my upcoming film and it was draining. It took all the strength out of me. But nonetheless, I can't wait for the monsoons to begin. It will be a big relief for all of us!

Yes, monsoons are a huge relief but it becomes highly dangerous for the light men and the gloomy atmosphere makes me feel lazy at times. But yes, rains are much awaited as I had a terrible heat stroke lately while shooting under the sun and had to continue despite my illness. Summer has been a tough one and I am planning my long drives, nature trails and have already pulled out my rainy shoes!!!
I do not know if I should answer this question as I love summers and hate monsoon. Little weird...I know but I have been cribbing about the climate undergoing a change.
