Jim Sarbh, Shefali Shah, and Vir Das are all set to represent India on the international stage in their respective categories. Jim Sarbh, known for his versatile acting skills, has received a well-deserved nomination in the "Best Performance by an Actor" category for his outstanding portrayal in the SonyLIV web series "Rocket Boys." 

This series, which has garnered critical acclaim, chronicles the remarkable journey of Dr. Homi Bhabha, a pioneer in India's scientific community. Sarbh's nuanced performance as Dr. Bhabha has captivated audiences, earning him a spot alongside other global talents. In his statement, a humbled Sarbh expressed his excitement, attributing the nomination to the hard work of the entire cast and crew who brought this inspiring story to life. 

Shefali Shah, a powerhouse of talent, has secured a nomination in the "Best Performance by an Actress" category for her compelling role in the Netflix web series "Delhi Crime Season 2." Shah's portrayal of a strong-willed character navigating complex societal issues has resonated with viewers around the world. Her nomination underscores the global recognition of Indian storytelling and acting prowess.

She faces tough competition from international stars, including Denmark's Connie Nielsen, the UK's Billie Piper, and Mexico's Karla Souza. 

Renowned comedian and actor Vir Das has also made India proud with his Emmy nomination. Das has been nominated for his uproarious Netflix comedy special titled "Vir Das: Landing." His unique brand of humor and witty observations have earned him a devoted global following. In the company of France's "Le Flambeau," Argentina's "El Encargado," and the UK's popular comedy show "Derry Girls Season 3," Vir Das is poised to showcase India's comedic talent on the international stage.

In addition to these individual nominations, the Indian entertainment industry has another reason to celebrate. Producer Ektaa Kapoor is set to receive the prestigious International Emmy Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards Gala. Kapoor's contributions to the world of entertainment, her innovative storytelling, and her dedication to pushing boundaries have earned her this esteemed recognition.

The 2023 International Emmy Awards promise to be a grand event, bringing together talent from across the globe to celebrate excellence in television, scheduled for November 20, 2023.
