Boney Kapoor's touching Instagram post: Remembering Sridevi on their 27th anniversary

On their 27th wedding anniversary, film producer Boney Kapoor took to Instagram to remember his late wife, actress Sridevi. He shared a throwback picture of the couple and captioned it with the details of their wedding, stating that they got married on June 2, 1996, in Shirdi.

The picture showed Boney Kapoor and Sridevi posing in a boat, and it evoked an emotional response from their fans. 

As soon as the pictures were posted, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons, expressing their love and admiration for the couple. Sharing the same he wrote, "1996 2nd June we got married in Shirdi, today we complete 27yrs".

Many fans left comments expressing that Sridevi is always with Boney Kapoor, highlighting the enduring impact she had on his life. 

For the unversed, tragically, Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, while attending a family function in Dubai. Her last film was 'Mom,' for which she received the Best Actress National Award posthumously, honoring her exceptional acting skills and contribution to the industry.

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor, apart from his personal reminiscences, has been active in the film industry. He recently appeared in the romantic comedy film 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and Dimple Kapadia. His upcoming production is the sports biopic film 'Maidaan,' featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role as the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, often regarded as the founding father of Indian football. The film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh. 'Maidaan' is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 23.
