Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy is seeing an upward trend at the box office in its second week, the celebration doubles up as Bollywood celebrities are showering love on the film after visiting the theatre. Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor, Ritesh Batra, and actress Mouni Roy shared their reactions after watching Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy

Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor took to her official Twitter where she shared, "Saw #gullyboy last night! Amazed how much I loved it! Clearly the best narrative in years!@ZoyaAkhtarOff ur the BOSS! @RanveerOfficial @aliaa08 u guys r in top form! Bahut hard!". Ekta Kapoor didn't stop there and she tweeted again, "A lot of ppl told me I won't like it! I supposedly like more commercial films! I do not think #gullyboy is niche at all!! It's a full-on emotional entertainer with its esthetics in place"

Actress Mouni Roy is all blown away by Gully Boy as she couldn't contain her excitement and she shared her views on the same after watching the film. Mouni Roy tweeted, "Saw #gullyboy finally & am in love. The story, music, artistry, music superlative. Take a bow @RanveerOfficial @aliaa08 @SiddhantChturvD @ritesh_sid & Zoa Maam s genius. Love & respect x"

Photograph director Ritesh Batra who's on a promotional spree also watched the film and shared his experience after watching the film. Ritesh Batra took to his official Twitter handle and shared, "Just saw #GullyBoy in the theater, such a joy to watch! Loved it! and great job @ZoyaAkhtarOff @RanveerOfficial @aliaa08 @SiddhantChturvD".

Earlier, actress Katrina Kaif who was also seen in Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara also praised her director friend Zoya Akhtar. Katrina Kaif posted a story on her Instagram where she wrote, "My dearest @zoieakhtar your time is here and how, you are such a leader and visionary, so fearless and always forging a new path @ranveersingh All heart and soul, what craft RESPECT @aliaabhatt you light up the screen. words fall short to describe you. @siddhantchaturvedi Just phenomenal unforgettable performance and the entire cast are just outstanding "

Zoya Akhtar's film is a story inspired by slum rappers of Dharavi, Gully Boy has gone ahead to create an immense buzz amongst the masses. The trailer, the music and now the reviews post its released had created a lot of anticipation for this Zoya Akhtar's film.

Zoya Akhtar who has been ahead of her times with films Luck By Chance, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and Dil Dhadakne Do is now ruling the box office with Gully Boy and is making all right noise across quarters.

Starring Ranveer Singh as the street rapper, Gully Boy stars Alia Bhatt as his love interest bringing to the screen the fresh chemistry of the duo. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment in association with Tiger Baby and this film on the underground rap movement in India is released on 14th February and getting immense love and appreciation among the masses.
