Bollywood Celebrities mourn the loss of Veeru Devgan

Bollywood industry lost another one of its gems today. Veeru Devgan, Bollywood’s most famous stunt and action choreographer and Ajay Devgn’s father, passed away today in the morning. 

The veteran action-director was admitted to the hospital in the morning when he complained of breathlessness. Apart from directing action sequences, he had directed the 1999 film Hindustan Ki Kasam which featured his son Ajay and Amitabh Bachchan.

As per reports, the funeral will be held at the Vile Parle West Crematorium on Monday evening. While many Bollywood celebrities are visiting the Devgan family to pay their respects, while the others took to their official social media handle to mourn the loss of their beloved action-director.

Veeru Devgan was known for his work in over 80 Bollywood movies such as Khoon Bhari Maang, Mr. Natwarlal, and Shahenshah among others. He had introduced Ajay to the world of cinema with Phool Aur Kante. He had even directed a movie called Hindustan Ki Kasam with son Ajay as the lead alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen among others.  He is survived by his wife Veena, two sons Ajay and Anil and two daughters Kavita and Neelam.
