Billo Barber finally postponed for 2009.

After being in talks for a long time as a part of Diwali line up for the year ‘Billo Barber’ is pushed back for release in February 2009. It is believed that SRK has postponed the release of the film so that, he can make way for his friends Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra films, Dostana and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi respectively.

Anyway, Shahrukh is starring as a lead in Aditya’s film which will be his big release for the year. It did not make any sense if he competes against his own film. He did not want the two big releases back to back in a span of two months. As it is there are lot of films lined up for release before and after Diwali and he do not want ‘Billo Barber’ to clash with any biggies.

Another reason can be ‘Kuselan’ the tamil version of the same starring ‘Rajnikant’ has not done well at the box-office as expected. After looking at the audience reaction to it, Priyadarshan has decided to make a few changes. The climax of both the movie is same. The film is criticized for being too long, so he is now fine-tuning the film.
