'Bhindi Baazaar. Inc.' release postponed till June 10

New Delhi, May 5 (IANS) The makers of 'Bhindi Baazaar. Inc' don't want to release their movie during the Indian Premier League (IPL) so they have postponed its release from May 20 to June 10.

'The primary reason to push back the release date of the film is the IPL as it gets all the media slots and the limelight. The second reason being the rush of films in April-May to clear the World Cup backlog,' said producer Karan Arora.

If relased on May 20, the film would have clashed with 'Kashmakash', '404', 'Pyar Ka Punchama' among others.

'On May 20th we have more than six movies releasing and with all those films 'Bhindi Baazaar' wouldn't have got its deserved space. We have locked June 10th as our final release date,' said Arora.

Focusing on pickpocketers, 'Bhindi Baazaar. Inc' shows that it is both an art and a means of livelihood. Ankush Bhatt wielded the megaphone for the crime thriller.

Kay Kay Menon, Deepti Naval, Prashant Narayan, Shilpa Shukla, Vedita Pratap Singh, Piyush Mishra, and newcomer Shweta Verma forms the star cast of the move, which also features an item song by Jennifer Lopez's cousin Catherina Lopez.
