2016 was filled with controversies from the television industry. This year, a lot of stuff went down and some serious fights took place. Let's take a look at the top 6 controversies that created a buzz!

This fight resulted in the show Comedy Nights With Kapil to go off-air. Due to various fights between Kapil Sharma and the channel, the strings on the show were pulled. The fight was so intense that colors pulled off its most successful show off-air!

Pratyusha Banerjee's suicide was probably the most shocking news from this year. The controversy sparked when her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh was blamed for her suicide.

Shilpa Shinde got a lot of appreciation for her role of Angoori Bhabhi on the show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. But due to fights between the producers and Shilpa, Shilpa was sacked. She decided to go the legal way in which CINTA favored the producers as their side of the story was stronger.

At first, Parth Samthaan accused Vikas Gupta of molesting him. The industry stood with Vikas and they claimed that Vikas and Parth were in a relationship.

Gaurav Arora recently transformed himself into Gauri Arora and soon after that, there were rumors of her dating Parth. The case flipped when Gauri said that Vikas used her and forced her to conspire against Parth!

Tannishtha Chatterjee walked out of the room comedy show while she was there to promote her film. Tannishtha was offended at the jokes made on her as she felt they were very demeaning.

This season of Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial ones, the real controversy began when Priyanka Jagga Muise entered the house from the secret room. Her behavior and language were extremely cheap and she even had the guts to talk ill in front of Salman Khan! She was kicked out of the Bigg Boss house and she claimed that she did all of it on purpose as she was ill due to a miscarriage and she wanted to get out of the house!
