Drashti Dhami is one of the most talented actresses in our tellytown. Born in a Gujarati family, Drashti started her journey from modelling and did countless advertisements before she got a role which brought the lime light to her.

After seeing her in advertisements of Colgate, Amul and a few more, she went on to do some music videos like Saiyyan Dil Mein Aana Re' followed by Humko Aaj Kal Hai', Teri Meri Nazar Ki Dori' and a Punjabi music video Nachle Soniyo Tu'. She the told the media in an interview that she had to put in lots of effort to convince her family members for letting her do dance videos.

The fame she earned, got her a role in a daily as Dr. Musskaan Chaddha. We saw Drashti's fun loving carefree avatar in Dill Mill Gaye. Her charming presence was spell binding from the very first day and she started enticing us with her good looks too.

She then got to play the lead in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. She was cast opposite Gurmeet Choudhary and from there, it was a no looking back kinda journey for her.

After five long years and appearing in two shows, Drashti came to TV as Madhubala in Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. She played the role of the legendary actress Madhubala and her and Vivian Dsena's jodi became super hit.

She got the fame and love she never expected. She also appeared in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in 2013. Neeraj Khemka and Drashti tied the knot in Feb 2015 and broke a million hearts.

After Madhubala, Drashi got Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. Although her role in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka got lots of negative feedback, yet she was the one who had everyone's empathy. She recently ended her sting in SBRK and is now enjoying her time as a free bird.
