Barkha Dutt wants Alia Bhatt in her biopic!

Bollywood celebrities are struggling to keep their fans entertained during the lockdown. While some have been making posts on Instagram, Kartik Aaryan is busy with his Youtube show, Koki Poochega. 

The brand new episode was graced by journalist Barkha Dutt. He shared a teaser on his Instagram and captioned it saying, "Yeh hui na baat !! Frontliner @barkha.dutt who has been reporting on ground for over 80 Days now."

Kartik started off asking Dutt if he deserves a Padma Shri Award for his acting. He even asks her which leading lady in Bollywood would be suitable for a biopic on her and gives her options. While initially Barkha is reluctant to answer, she takes Alia Bhatt’s name.

For the uninitiated, Barkha Dutt is an Indian Journalist who has reluctantly covered sensitive issues faced by the nation. Currently, she has been reporting the ground reality amid the pandemic, for almost 80 days.

During the myth vs fact session he asks the reporter if Kartik Aaryan deserves Bharat Ratna for Koki Poochega and the reporter is left in splits.

Earlier, Kartik spoke about the situation the industry is in and that, if the need arises, he is willing to take a pay cut as well.

Speaking about pay cuts, Kartik said, “If that is something that is gonna help the industry, I think we all should do that. We should be up for it. We have taken a huge hit, as a country and as an industry also.” Kartik also shared a quote on pay cuts as his Instagram stories.
