Armaan Malik happy to sing with A.R. Rahman

Singer Armaan Malik is ecstatic for his dream "come true" moment as he recorded his first song with Oscar winning music director A.R. Rahman for the film "2.0".

Malik has sung the track "Mechanical Sundariye", which "talks about the unusual love between two robots".

On Saturday, Malik posted an image of himself with the Oscar winner on his Instagram account with the caption: "Finally a dream come true for me. I sang my first song for A.R. Rahman sir and that too for the movie '2.0' starring superstars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and directed by legend Shankar."

"Couldn't have imagined this day would come so soon and in this manner. I kept this song a surprise for all my fans because I know how excited they would be when they would hear about it at the right time.

"Does anyone remember my trip to Chennai for recordings? Well this is the recording I went for. It's definitely a proud moment for my parents," he added.
